Our Tithes To God
Do you include tithes to your financial budget or your list? Sometimes we Christian forget that we have our financial obligation to God. Honestly, giving tithes is a burden to me. But I do always giving help to somebody needs, I used to do that. But I thank GOD that His blessings flows continue to my life and to my family.
My mother practice what is GOD’s principle in order for her to be financially free, and this is by giving tithes. As I do remember one of my Pastor’s sermons one Sunday was, in order to get out of debt, we are going to learn to cooperate with God’s basic principles. God has set up certain spiritual laws concerning giving and receiving. When we give, we open up the channels in our life through which God can bless us. Since tithing is so important to our financial well-being, we need to look at it in dept. You will never get out of debt unless you make the decision to tithe. Our natural mind tells us that we can’t possibly pay tithes when we owe money to others. Or our mind says that we should wait and pay our tithes after we pay off our debts. But, the Bible calls the tithe first fruits. And it is clear from Malachi 3 that a person who does not tithe will be a sitting duck for the devourer. What money you finally scrape together to pay the Sears bill will be eaten up when the car breaks down or when the kids get sick and have to visit the doctor. Faithful tithing is a vital key to getting out of debt and leads us to financial freedom because it opens up the windows of heaven in your life.
