Joseph “Joe” Camilo Pineda, 77, of Plano, IL passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at his daughter’s home, surrounded by his loving family.? He was born July 9, 1942 in Trinidad, CO, the son of Joe John and Magdalena Mary (Urioste) Pineda.? Joe was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano.? He proudly served in the US Air Force and the US Army.? Joe was a kind and generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand.? A social butterfly, he would frequently make his daily rounds to chit chat with everyone around town.? Joe loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by three daughters, Carolina (Christopher) Atkinson, Lynn Mata, and Mary (Jenaro)? Mondragon all of Plano, IL; he raised Jessie Ruben (Katherine Konop) Pineda of Plano, IL and Jessica Lynn Pineda of TN; ten grandchildren, Justine (Adam) Haws of Plano, IL, Joleanna (Tom) Williamson of Somonauk, IL, Erin Martinez of Plano, IL, Logan Atkinson of Plano, IL, Katelyn Dillard of FL, Arturo Flores, II of Oswego, IL, Kristena? Kaufman of Plano, IL, Elizabeth Atkinson-Rossaert of Plano, IL, Justin Piceno of Plano, IL, and Lilianna Mondragon of Plano, IL; fourteen great grandchildren, Kaylin, Heiress, Kyrie, Calypso, Christopher, Alexander, Lola, Ryker, Jayce, Kadience, Grady, Camille, Rosalina, Aimsley, and Ckristiian is on his way; four sisters, Maxine Pineda of CO, Annabelle (Albert) Rocha of TX, Martha Jean Lamb of CO, and Sarah (Leo) Mills of CO; three brothers, Eddie (Rosy) Pineda, Daniel (Barb) Pineda, and Anthony Madrigal all of CO; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings in childhood, Eddie Pineda, Joanne Pineda, and Grace Madrigal, one nephew, Eddie Pineda.
