Following drizzle overnight and this morning, temperatures will turn Winter-like toward the evening and for mid-week.
As Meteorologist Mike Spiel is reporting, a high temperature near 50 today will fall in the afternoon. Drizzle and some light rain at times today turns to a risk by evening.
Rainfall data show only trace amounts for Kendall, DeKalb and the surrounding counties. Windy and cold conditions move into the area tonight with 15 to 28 mph winds out of the west and northwest and gusts up to 40 mph.
On Tuesday, a high of only 25 degrees is expected, though, the day should be mostly sunny.
Tuesday night will be cold with lows at 10 to 13 degrees above. Wednesday is when a slight risk for some morning snow flurries returns. The high will again be in the low 20's with partly sunny skies forecasted.
Thursday, conditions start to warm with a high at 34 and by Friday, a high at 42. The National Weather Service is currently showing a possible rain and snow mix on Saturday with temperatures in the 30's. Make sure to stay tuned to 107.1 FM for the latest weather details throughout the week.
