Give Tithes to God is the secret to be rich. Would you agree? If you aren’t already doing so, begin paying a faithful tithe. To benefits by God’s wisdom and receive His blessing, one must be faithful in returning His holy tithe (see Deuteronomy 28, Proverbs 3; Malachi 3; and Matthew 6 and 25). On other hand, God is eager to bless those who obey Him.

Give God’s Part First

“Honor the Lord from your wealth, and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine” (Proverbs 3:9-10). The foundation for any family financial plan must be built upon God’s Word. Throughout His Words, giving a portion of our wealth is described as essential to our receiving God’s wisdom. This is not for God’s benefits, but for our. The willingness to surrender to God a portion of what we have is the external evidence of an internal commitment.

There will never be “enough” to give. You must simply commit that portion to God and adjust the rest accordingly. When you do this willingly and obediently, God promises to provide His wisdom to mange the rest. “There is one who scatters, yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, but it results only in want”  “Proverbs 11:24)

Let me make it clear. You don’t get closer to god by making a commitment to tithe. A commitment to tithe is a sign of a couple that has gotten close to God. Tithing is the outward indicator that you acknowledge God’s ownership of everything.

If you don’t tithe, that doesn’t mean that God is going to strike you dead. Some people give because they believe if they don’t give, God will wipe out business or their family. You were saved by grace, and you remain in God’s grace by grace. You don’t earn that. Tithing is an external expression of an internal spiritual commitment. The lack of tithing indicates a couple who no longer truly has God first. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” say the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open for you the windows’” (Malachi 3:10)
