About Me
My name is Helen, a Civil Engineer, a mother of two kids here in the Philippines. I love research work, blogging and writing. I worked for almost 25 years now. In all those years it seems that, my earning is just enough to my family. Sometimes I have extra money but I can't buy just for anything at anytime I want. By my profession, contractors and suppliers are my partners. I supervise projects; do my duty as a responsible Civil Engineer here in our country. But in the long run working with it I discovered that being in this job no one will prosper much to earn more for good. My parents are businessmen, since when I was still in my elementary grades I know already how to do business because in our classroom I was selling candies for an additional allowance to buy something I want. Since I am planning to start up my business, I do a researched on it, where in fact I am fun of reading articles, watching TV on business related and listening success different stories in business. I always buy magazines on entrepreneur’s issues because I want to have my own business and be a boss to myself. I started-up my buy-and-sale business here in our place, where I got my capital from my savings out of my salary. I started it in a small way. Since then, it really works, I can have my own car, I send my children to a prestigious school already here in our place, and we do have our vacation if we want. Until now I still am working because I have still a big responsibility on my job. But I have planned to quit my job when I can train somebody to replace me in my office. I am not rich as millionaires have, but what I am trying to impose here is that, its different to have business of your own, because you can manage your time, you are the boss and you can do whatever in your own plan.
