Teach the child to use inhaler and space.
- Shake the inhaler well for five seconds. Remove the protective cap and insert the mouthpiece of the inhaler in to one end of the spacer. Hold the inhaler with your index finger on top and your thumb supporting the bottom
- Breathe out as much as possible to empty the lungs. tilt your head back, place the mouthpiece of the spacer tube in your mouth, and close your lips around it.
