The human body was designed well before the day when one could walk into an airport in Boston at breakfast time and step off in London for dinner, or depart at dinner and arrive in New Zealand for breakfast.

We pay for this wondrous ability with something called jet lag, our body’s reaction to zooming across time zones with abandon.
