 Mearuring Money As a child, it's easy to develop the concept that you will indeed get money if you do things right: if you behave properly, work hard and persevere. The child doesn't understand that good performance may not be properly rewarded, that circumstances can interfere. And the child doesn't understand that one kind of good work is rewarded more than another kind.

Genesis 2:15 says, "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it." When Adam sinned, things got harder. Discipline was needed just to survive. In the world today, men are still working just to eat. We need to get back to the original intent of the discipline that God gave Adam, one of freedom and fellowship.
